The Purpose of BBS;

Business SWAP is an international network for the Business Owner, the Professional and the Self Employed.
The purpose of Business SWAP is to foster the Professional and Personal Development of the members through Education, Motovation and Experience.
This is accomplished through the regular breakfasts, Networking, Round Tables  and the Professional and Personal Development Program unto which each member is enrolled.

I have been a member of BBS since around mid 2003(I think.)  I feel I have grown personally due to interaction with other people on a Friday morning who like to get together and discuss business.  I have found BBS to be a non threatening environment.  The members are friendly and willing to listen and suggest the person you can hook up with if you are looking for a particular type of business or
Assistance in your business.

We all have the chance to stand and present a 30 second informercial.  Correct, some people stand , present their infomercial, sit and you still don’t know what they do.  However, after being a member for a while.  That person will eventually have a polite tap on the shoulder and be advised that there is a problem with their infomercial.  That did happen to me and a suggestion was given.  I changed my infomercial and I have increased the amount of inquiries through involvement with the club, listening to the advice, and being a regular attendie.

I find it interesting to observe the growth of some of the newer members after a few short months.  They seem to feel more confident at attending other networking clubs due to the support and the atmosphere we create.
